There are a number of reasons a payment might fail, resulting in an error. Here is a list of some possible errors you might encounter when trying to make a payment.
Insufficient funds
You might see this when trying to make a payment from an account that does not have enough funds to cover the payment you're attempting to make. If you have other accounts with sufficient funds then you can use those accounts for payment instead. You'll see the following when this happens:
Bank is unavailable for payment
This error can occur when we are processing payment and the bank you're looking to pay from is either partially or fully unavailable at the time of your request. This can happen because the bank services are down for maintenance reasons, or because the bank may be experiencing a service downtime. During this time you will see a screen that looks like this:
Stitch is unavailable for payment
Although this rarely happens, you might see this when an internal server error occurs, particularly affecting our service. This error is generally transient and can be retried. In this case, you would see the following:
