Common reasons for this issue
You might see an error like this because:
- You may have terms and conditions on your account that are yet to be accepted. This is required to start, or continue, using online banking (this is possible on most banks, and it's most common on Capitec).
- The account has gone into overdraft, and the bank has frozen it.
- The account has been blocked due to suspicious activity or requires additional FICA documentation.
