As mentioned in this article, fees are common across the South African banking landscape. Stitch is mostly limited to beneficiary notification fees in the form of POP fees. More details in the linked article.
The user would have to log into their bank portal - either via their bank’s mobile banking app or online web portal, navigate to the beneficiary added and remove the payment notification email.
Any subsequent payments would thus not incur proof of payment (POP) fees.
