Are Stitch Pay by bank payments instant?

Payments made via Stitch can be broken up into three elements:

Initiation

Stitch payments are initiated instantly. As our products leverage interbank transfer systems technology, any payments facilitated by Stitch are initiated instantly, though settlement times may vary based on the product and solution.

Client acknowledgement and fulfilment

Client acknowledgement of a payment is dependent on the client environment and solution employed. This is generally split into fulfilment on initiation and, less commonly, fulfilment on settlement. In general, this is instant and communicated via webhooks or API polling requests.

Settlement

Settlement durations are discussed here. In general, based on the environment and solution employed, settlements will take up to T+1 days to settle at their intended beneficiary.
