Who holds liability for usage of the merchant’s platform?

The end users hold liability when signing into their accounts or making payments via Stitch. Stitch exists solely as a technology layer that submits payment instructions for a user’s bank account. Because Stitch do not own or control that account, Stitch legally cannot be held liable for funds moving into or out of it.
