To block the account held with Stitch's merchant, which received the funds, there are two options:
- Directly contact the merchant: Inform them of the fraudulent transaction(s) and request that they place a block on the account that received the funds.
- Log a fraud dispute with your bank: Notify your bank about the fraudulent transaction and file a fraud dispute. The bank will then contact Stitch to instruct the merchant to block the account that received the funds.
Reaching out to the bank and the merchant is the preferred method for blocking the account, as it follows a formalized process and involves all the necessary parties.
